Recently realsed papers illustrated how the Britain secretly backed the ‘Freedom Fighters’ now relabelled ‘Terrorists’ in Afghanistan. In other words we created this mess and now the whole world has to pay the price and work on solving it. Just like Britain caused the problem of Palestine and Kashmir.

Surely people should have learnt not to meddle with other peoples internal affairs, especially when previous experiments have caused hundreds of thousands of lives to date.

Technically the UK and USA are responsible for all the attacks committed or alleged by Al-Qaeda, as they fed, cultured and created ‘Al-Qaeda’.

Here are some quotes from the report:

“So long as they remained in forward positions, they would need some defensive equipment, possibly including surface to air missiles to defend themselves against air attack.”

It was said at the meeting: “If one of the objectives of the West in this crisis was to keep the Islamic world aroused about the Soviet invasion, that would be served by encouraging a continuing guerrilla resistance.”

Sir Robert said although a border war should be avoided, “so long as Afghans were ready to continue guerrilla resistance, and Pakistan was prepared at least to acquiesce in Pakistani territory being a base for such activity, the West could hardly refuse to provide support, where it could do so with suitable discretion”.

The Germans were legally unable to supply arms, but the US, UK and France agreed to help the Mujahideen.
Soon afterwards Dr Brzezinski visited Pakistan and wrote to the Cabinet Office: “I was impressed by the determination of the Pakistanis, and also with the Afghan resistance fighters – the Mujahidin – whom I encountered during my visit to a refugee camp on the frontier.

“I am convinced we have something solid to work with in frustrating Soviet ambitions toward the south.”

“We trust the Western leaders are prepared for the enormous beneficial possibilities that could just possibly open up if the Afghan rebellion were to succeed.”

Wikileaks is a non-profit, non-government organisation which believes that transparency forces governments to act responsibly. Here are the latest leaks:

1: Corruption within the Afghan government, with concerns heightened when a senior official was found to be carrying more than $50m in cash on a foreign trip:

At least now we know where all the money is being spent when it comes to War On Terror (WOT). People are just being bought out to fight America’s war. Soldiers and innocent people are dying to remove one corrupt government to another.

2: Bargaining to empty the Guantanamo Bay prison camp – including Slovenian diplomats being told to take in a freed prisoner if they wanted to secure a meeting with President Barack Obama:

So this is how America deals with it’s mistakes; by bartering for seats next to Obama. Maybe they should have opened an e-bay account. They might have got better offers from other satellite nations.

3: Germany being warned in 2007 not to enforce arrest warrants for US Central Intelligence Agency officers involved in an operation in which an innocent German citizen with the same name as a suspected militant was abducted and held in Afghanistan:

This sounds like a scene from the film Godfather.

4: US officials being instructed to spy on the UN’s leadership by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:

Wow we all knew that the UN was an extension of American foreign policy tool but this only illustrate how trusting America is of her Allies.

5: The very close relationship between Russian PM Vladimir Putin and his Italian counterpart Silvio Berlusconi Alleged links between the Russian government and organised crime:

Ahh, yet another scene from a gangster movie where one mobster belittles another.

6: Yemen’s president talking to then US Mid-East commander General David Petraeus about attacks on Yemeni al-Qaeda bases and saying: “We’ll continue saying the bombs are ours, not yours” Faltering US attempts to prevent Syria from supplying arms to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

This comes as a surprise! NOT. This is not the first time nor will it be the last time where America will keep funding and supplying both sides of the war.

So what is the response from American administration, the so called leaders of the democratic world? Hilary Clinton argues that “This disclosure is not just an attack on America’s foreign policy interests,” she continues to say that “It is an attack on the international community: the alliances and partnerships, the conversations and negotiations that safeguard global security and advance economic prosperity.”

If this is not enough the French President Nicolas Sarkozy argues that the website was a “threat to democracy”.

Here is my final comment: ‘Democracy = Hypocrisy’
