War

US president Barak Obama condemned the killing of 43 people as “outrageous” after a female bomber attacked on a large crowd receiving food aid in Khar in the region of Bajaur, North-west of Pakistan.

Well at least the feminists will be happy that the bombing was carried out by a female and this brings equality in the ranks of the so called ‘terrorists’.

However Obama went to state that he strongly condemns “the outrageous terrorist attack in Khar,” and that “Killing innocent civilians outside a World Food Programme distribution point is an affront to the people of Pakistan, and to all humanity,” he said.

“The United States stands with the people of Pakistan in this difficult time, and will strongly support Pakistan’s efforts to ensure greater peace, security and justice for its people.”

Mr Obama if you’re so concerned about the killing and murder of innocent civilians why have you not condemned and stopped Drone attacks by your own army in Pakistan. To date Drone attacks in Pakistan has murdered over 2000 innocent women, children and elderly people.

U.S. airstrikes in Pakistan are killing Pakistani civilians, turning public opinion against the government, and U.S. experts say the airstrikes are destabilizing the Pakistani government. Please have the decency to value life for life and halt U.S. airstrikes in Pakistan.

I call Obama a bomber cause those are your bombs.

Today marks the 2 year anniversary of the illegal war on Gaza on 27th December 2008.

Israel carried out a surprise air strike against the Gaza Strip on 27th December 2008. Although Israel’s stated aim was to stop the measly rocket attacks by Hamas by attacking what they claim are the military targets, police stations and Hamas government buildings.

The reality however is that Israel is a bully and in comparison to the huge nuclear arsenal it posses; the action of Israel can only amount to bullying. The Gaza Strip is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. All borders are controlled and blocked by the Israeli’s and the Egyptians. The three-week war on Gaza resulted in over 1400 Palestinian deaths, of whom most were children and women, in comparison to 13 Israeli deaths, of whom most were soldiers.

But of course we heard the normal victim story from the Zionists that they are the victims of rocks and how they tried their best to target only Hamas controlled areas and how Hamas is using civilians as human shields. Israel went on to use white phosphorus which is an illegal substance under international law.

The reality is that Israel used the measly attacks by Hamas, who in turn where firing as a result of constant harassing by the Israeli’s to attack the Gaza Strip. A war and occupation that was meticulously carried out is not the affect of a reaction but a pre-planned attacked to cower the people of Gaza to accept its illegal occupation of Palestine.

My problem as always has been how the freedom loving, democracy fighting West always turns a blind eye to the blatant crimes committed by the Zionists. How can anyone in their right mind trust and have faith in the Politics of the West. Do not get me wrong, the Arab and the Muslim world is just as much to blame as they stood in silence whilst the genocide occurred for the whole world to watch on prime time TV.

Steven Green, a former American solider serving 5 life terms for raping a 14 year old Iraqi girl and killing her parents and sister admits that he thought iraqi civilians were not human. All this because of what he says crimes fuelled by experiences in iraq’s violent ‘Triangle of Death’ where two of his sergeants were gunned down.

Green said those deaths ‘messed me up real bad.’ ‘There’s not a word that would describe how much I hated these people,’ Green said. ‘I wasn’t thinking these people were humans.’

Green after the killing of his sergeants, talked frequently of wanting to kill Iraqis.

The following is an extract taken from the Daily Mail newspaper. ‘At the Iraqi home, Barker and Cortez pulled Abeer into one room, while Green held the mother, father and youngest daughter in another.

Pfc. Jesse V. Spielman, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, stood guard in the hall. As Barker and Cortez raped the teen, Green shot the three family members, killing them.

He then went into the next room and raped Abeer, before shooting her in the head. The soldiers lit her remains on fire before leaving. Another soldier stood watch a few miles away at the checkpoint.’

You can read the full article here.

If this is the trauma and after shock that a trained solider can feel; can you imagine how the ordinary Iraqi civilian must feel. How they have to live each day watching the foreign occupiers, raping their land of resources and whatever they can.

The war in Iraq, is an illegal occupation that has no standing in international law. The war must end now; the foreign troops must evacuate and allow the Iraqi’s to decide their own future.

American F-16's used by Zionists wreak havoc in Gaza

American F-16's used by Zionists wreak havoc in Gaza

Israel decides to bombard the Gaza Strip with the help of its American supplied F-16 bombers. At least 225 innocent people were murdered by the Zionists occupiers, mostly if not all were policemen, women and children. Over 700 are also reported to be injured by the air strikes.

Israeli PM Ehud Olmert has said that the operation “may take some time” and “It’s not going to last a few days,”. Mr Olmert continued to argue that “You – the citizens of Gaza – are not our enemies. Hamas, Jihad and the other terrorist organisations are your enemies, as they are our enemies…”They have brought disaster on you and they try to bring disaster to the people of Israel. And it is our common goal to make every possible effort to stop them.”

What ever the difference with the group of Hamas, it was and is an elected group that was chosen from its citizens. The only disaster that the people have witness is from the Zionist occupiers and this attack today is testament to that aggression.

Further reports suggest that the Israelis’ actually demand a harsher response towards the Palestinian people. This sentiment in Israel has produced further support for the Beiteinu Party which takes a hard-line approach on Gaza.

Will the World condemn the attacks by the Zionsist occupiers? Will the World denounce support for Israel for murdering civilians in such a manner?

No the world will listen and go to sleep again whilst the aggressors continue to cause havoc in the region. The West who claims to be the beacon of justice and equality has and continues to stay silent over this and other atrocities committed by their friend Israel. Will the world condemn and boycott America for support and harboring a terrorist state?

I guess not, same as always.

It’s a sad state of affairs.

Why do they have to suffer? Why is the world not speaking out against the Zionist Israeli state? Is it because Palestine blood is cheaper? Or is it because the ‘price is worth it?’

Sudan’s President Omar Hassan al-Bashir has said attempts to indict him for war crimes could derail peace efforts in the Sudanese region of Darfur.

Prosecution by the International Criminal Court (ICC) could also have a “catastrophic impact” on regional stability, he said.

The ICC is trying to indict Mr Bashir over attacks in war-torn Darfur.

Sudan has rejected the allegations, and African nations have urged the UN to block any prosecution.

But ICC Chief Prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo, who asked judges to issue an arrest warrant against Mr Bashir in July, said last week that he will continue to push for charges.

He said he had evidence that Mr Bashir was controlling attacks against civilians in Darfur.

Local people had been raped and killed by both the Sudanese army and Janjaweed pro-government militias, he said.

The ICC is expected to rule on how to proceed before the end of this year.

‘Negative signal’

The Darfur rebellion began in 2003 when mostly non-Arab groups took up arms against the Arab-dominated government in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, accusing it of discrimination.

Up to 300,000 people have been killed and as many as 2.5 million have been forced from their homes.

Mr Bashir’s government has denied mobilising the Janjaweed militias, accused of widespread atrocities against Darfur’s black African population, and on Thursday he said any prosecution could derail peace efforts.

“It impedes the Darfur peace talks by sending negative signals to Darfur rebel movements to distance themselves from the negotiating table,” he said during a diplomatic summit in Accra, Ghana.

“It also threatens the democratic transformation in Sudan where political parties have braced themselves for elections next year, and will have a catastrophic impact on stability in the entire region,” he said.

But he added: “In spite of all this I wish to affirm our commitment to implement the peace agreements and settle the Darfur conflict through negotiations.”

I have always maintained that ‘two wrongs do not make a right’.  On the one hand the West accuses Sudan’s President Omar Hassan al-Bashir of war crimes but on the other hand fails to even speak of indictment of US President George W Bush and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who both authorised an illegal war in Iraq, without the approval of the UN and any concrete prove that Iraq had violated any international law that warranted an illegal occupation of another country.

As a result according to the “Iraq Body Count” almost a million Iraqi civilians have died since 2003. We have not even added the millions already killed due to the sanctions imposed by the West on Iraq after the first Gulf War. As General Tommy Franks of the US Army declared “We don’t do body counts“.

The US does not do body counts because they know the West is above the law they proclaim to uphold. There is only one law that the West upholds and that is the law of ‘Self-Interest’.
